Ahh Iâm back and it feels soooo good!
Okay, so maybe you noticed, maybe you didn’t BUT I took a little break from writing you every week. Trust me, it’s nothing personal. I still love you to pieces! I just needed some time to myself to rest, recoup, and come back to you ready to GO!Â
Change
Iâve missed writing every week, but the break was much needed. I mean, I LOVE writing these blogs and love sharing information with you all, of course! I just had a lot of change happen in my life over this last year and change always requires some adjusting and getting used to. You have to learn how to reconfigure, readjust, and go forward with the new changes. But change is good. Growth requires change, and you can’t grow without some change. So it’s best to embrace it. It’s always teaching you something. Even if you can’t see it in the immediate moment.Â
Taking a Break
So, I had a strong pull to take a break for a little while. To be honest, I was pretty down and every time I sat down to write, it just felt forced and I didnât feel that joy that is usually infused into these posts. I tried to power through but I wasnât enjoying it. I was struggling to write and very easily distracted. It’s better not to “power through” something that your heart isn’t in. I didnât want to put something out that was inauthentic or that was infused with the sourness I was feeling. I didnât want to continue forcing myself to do something that I clearly wasnât enjoying in the moment. That always comes through in your writing. If your heartâs not in it, it shows, and I definitely didnât want that.
So, I knew I needed to take a step back and reevaluate some things. IÂ took some much needed time to reconfigure, regroup and heal. This last couple weeks Iâve felt that pull to start writing again and it’s exciting! So I finally sat down and felt it out. Lemme just say…it feels SO good to be back. I really do love writing and sharing information that could possibly help someone out. I love it!
Rest & Recover
Sometimes, you just need to take a step back and take some time for yourself. Just like with working out, rest and recovery are just as important as the actual workout. If you constantly go, go, go and don’t take the necessary time to rest and recover, your body will eventually suffer and it’ll find a way to stop you–through injury, sickness, overwhelm, etc.  If you feel that need to take a step back or take some time to rest & recover, listen to that. Your body knows what it needs. Just like with working out, when you do decide to come back, youâll be refreshed, more motivated, and even stronger. Don’t be afraid to take breaks. They’re a necessary part of the process.Â
And I’m BAAAACCKK!
Anyways, Iâm back and so thankful for each and every one of you who take the time to read this blog. Itâs something I love doing and Iâm just so grateful that people enjoy reading it. Itâs my hope that itâll help answer some questions you may have, or spark one of those aha moments, or at the very least put a smile on your face đÂ
Keep fighting for what you want, make time for the things you love, and don’t forget to take time out for yourself! It’ll make a world of difference. Keep on keeping on!
Thanks for being totally, awesomely YOU! You rock!Â
Until next time,
Xoxo
