Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Walking in Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Walking in the gym feeling lost, anxious and out of place. Trying to figure out what advice to listen to-what’s true + what’s garbage. Sifting through workouts to try to piece together what you’re gonna do in the gym that day. 

That was the hardest part for me when I started—the whole not knowing what to do, what was most effective, what was potentially dangerous + how to actually get results. I wanted to make progress but just didn’t know how. There was so much conflicting info, I had no idea what to listen to or where to start. And I did a lot wrong!

How do you really feel about your workouts? 

You’re gonna have a hard time staying consistent + actually showing up if you hate it. You gotta enjoy it in some way. That doesn’t mean you’ll wanna do it all the time, but you’ll be more likely to show up if there’s something you enjoy about the process. 

There are so many different ways to move your body, find something you like or find a way to enjoy the process.
